Hughes: Bentley staying
Blackburn boss Mark Hughes insists that star midfielder David Bentley will not be leaving the club in the summer.
The England winger was linked with a £15m move to Spurs, having previously attracted the interest of Liverpool, but Hughes stressed Bentley remains an integral part of his Ewood Park plans.
He said: "He has three years on his contract and we will build the squad around the good players we have."
McCarthy wants to stay
South Africa striker Benni McCarthy has revealed that he would like to end his playing career with Blackburn.
The 30-year-old, who joined from Porto for £2.5m in 2006, signed a new three- year deal last month which ties him to the club until 2011.
He told the Lancashire Telegraph: "I would (finish my career at Rovers), that's why I signed the deal. I can see myself finishing my football here."
