Fergie hopeful on Rooney
Sir Alex Ferguson believes Wayne Rooney will be fit for the Champions League final even if he misses Manchester United's title crunch at Wigan.
Rooney has missed two games, including the victory over Barcelona, after suffering a recurrence of a hip injury in the defeat at Chelsea last month.
Ferguson said: "Maybe I will have him as a substitute on Sunday. But he will be fit for the Champions League final."
Fletcher eyeing revenge
Darren Fletcher insists Manchester United are out for revenge after the 'battle of Stamford Bridge' and last season's FA Cup final loss to Chelsea.
Avram Grant's side beat United in a tempestuous league encounter last month but the Scottish midfielder believes United are well placed to hit back.
He said: "If we can win the league it will give us great momentum to take into the Champions League final."
Mikel: Grant is 'perfect'
Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikel has given his backing to under-fire Blues manager Avram Grant.
The Israeli is under pressure to deliver the Premier League title and the Champions League this season.
Mikel said: "He's a nice man, the perfect guy, I like him. We have a good chance in the Premier League - (Manchester) United may drop points - and in the Champions League as well."
